We recommend that pupils complete one piece of English and maths a day whilst children are unable to attend school.
Reading would be our absolute top priority for you - do aim to read everyday! Try these activities based on 'Lost and Found.'
Reception children should practise their RWInc set 1 sounds daily. When confident with those please move on to set 2 sounds. Year 1 children should be looking to master set 2 and then set 3 sounds. You may like to try the Letters and Sounds phonics videos too.
Do read the latest copy of 'First News' with your child if appropriate - an excellent newspaper especially for primary school children.
Basic skills such as reading, spelling, handwriting and mental maths should also be practised in short bursts of ten to fifteen minutes.

Alongside completing English and maths, we suggest you switch off the computer and take your learning in different directions.
